Creating a layout is problem solving. In a layout, elements like text and image are not static, but dynamic. Text, image, and graphics interact to form a gestalt. Whether they are created for print or for the web, layouts are user interfaces. Structure must be apparent from the top level all the way down. The following layouts were created using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop – as well as the Moodle LMS – and represent work for print and the web.
